Artist's Description
These are some wild grapes in our woods. When the vikings sailed down the Northeast coastline, they saw wild grapes just about everywhere, which is why they called North America Vinland. I am intrigued with the shapes of the leaves, the emerging fruit and the light and shadow created by the overlapping. This picture was taken early morning and there were dew drops standing on the leaves.
