- We live in a forest and there are endless subjects for a landscape photographer. If I never left home I could still have an astonishing number of images in my portfolio. The other morning, I saw a spider web up in the trees and wanted to shoot it. There wasn't enough light to get a really dramatic image of it even with a flash. While I was there I started to scan the rest of my surroundings and came up with this. The title is a bit of a pun. There is a college near hear called William Woods.
