A walk up the dunes to a place where we could see the lake, the horizon and an impending storm. Across the sand and the grasses, ice builds up on the shore as winter gasps its last. Warren Dunes is a State Park along the Eastern shore of Lake Michigan. It is across the water from Chicago in Southwestern Michigan’s Berrien County. The dunes offer four season recreation for visitors.
