Of the land
As I had never before been aware of it
from a poem by Cyril M. Kanhai
The bottom land reclaimed when the Army Corps of Engineers built the levees created a place where crops can be grown in topsoil that is more than 20 feet deep. This is such a locale, just North of Hermann, Missouri. This spot has spoken to me for some time. I have taken innumerable pictures without success. This image is finally, the very thing I sought.
