Kanab is the portal to the North Rim of Grand Canyon. The light and shadows created by the time of day and the position of the sun made for a bit of visual drama among this stand of Ponderosa Pines. One of the delightful aspects of infrared photography is that works as well in broad daylight as any other time. No need for lack of sleep to get the morning light or being late for dinner trying to capture the sweet light at sunset.

You can purchase a one of a kind, original print of this image directly from the artist by contacting me via email. The picture is signed and the mat has a hand drawn remarque in graphite. The paper and inks are archival and the printing is done under my direct supervision.
