This looks like a beer processing place. I am always a fan of this kind of treatment applied to an image. It fits this one beautifully!

William Fields replied:

It is in fact a brewery Linda. Good eye. Please don't tell Dr. Glennon-Took. Thanks!

Artist's Description

Deep in the bowels of the old reformatory the slightly mad, Doctor Percy Holland Glennon-Took, oversaw a massive operation that concocted among other things, ether for use by addicts. His personal drug of choice was nitrous oxide which he also prepared for sale on the street as well as to actual dental facilities. He had addled his brains through exposure to leaks of ether and nitrous oxide within his laboratory and through his overuse of the latter substance during quieter moments in his private quarters four floors above the lab. Artists have been accused of being self aggrandizing, long winded, name droppers. I hate it when the critics get it right! In an attempt to diffuse those kinds of accusations, regardless of how accurate they may be, I am writing this statement today. Each picture I make begins with a germ of an idea.
