Description

A group of Lewis and Clark Expedition reenactors came to our town recently. The camped by a tributary of the Missouri River called Frene Creek. I spent some time in the camp talking with the people and taking pictures, When I looked at what I had, I chose this picture to represent my impression of the event. I did some processing to make the picture look like a vintage photo. That doesn't make a lot of sense. Photography wasn't invented when the Lewis and Clark Expedition happened. I guess it makes as much sense as a bunch of men in their 70's portraying men in their 20s and 30s.
