Artist's Description

I was driving my wife to work because I was taking her car to the shop. The morning fog and the constantly changing light was screaming for my attention, but we had a mission. I dropped her off and drove a little too fast back to this spot. There was no proper shoulder so I pulled the car almost into a ditch by the roadside and put the flashers on. Traffic wasn't heavy, but it was somewhat steady. I am certain passing drivers were cursing me for slowing their morning progress. I just could not miss this amazing and delicious ribbon of asphalt creeping off into the misty morning fog.
