Artist's Description
When I traveled in Nepal and visited in the homes of people, their household goods were on display in open cabinets as a kind of decor. I had finished running the dishwasher one day and was putting things away when this image caught my eye and imagination. It made me think of those open cabinets in the homes of Sherpa families in the Himalaya. When Louise saw what I was doing, she said "What in the hell are you doing?" I think there may be more of these still lifes in my future. The models are absolutely cooperative and I can move them where ever I like.

Thanks Bob, no worries about things moving around. I just have to wait a very short time and my wife will have rearranged everything so I have no idea where to look for a cup to make tea; )

Wonderful still life, love the light. v
William Fields replied:
Thanks Kate, the light was provided by a shop light turned at an angle to minimize shadows. Then, I adjusted the WB on camera to get the warm tones.

William, I think this is an awesome image! Just gives the viewer a little peek into someone's life. Nice warm tones with just the perfect combination of blues and yellows to attract the eye. f/v/g+1
