I try to put everything I have learned from every great teacher and through every mistake I have made into each and every piece with as much passion as I have for art and for life itself. TWEETED to over 21,000 followers who watch for our images and quotes... Its great to be retired, been to NO three times. Took the tours, went on the Sternwheeler on a long tour through the Bayous.... That was the BEST tour ever.... Unfortunately missed the Mime.. maybe next time...
William Fields replied:
Thanks Bob and Nadine! There are plenty of stops along Bourbon that are worth the time for a glass of wine.

William, First, Congrats on the Sale! I appreciate the juxtaposition here of the "glitz" against the gritty nature of the store front building. To me, this makes a statement about the charade that Mardi Gras sometimes becomes. I often think of the incredible amount of wealth that is tossed during this season - both from the passing floats in the form of trinkets and the elaborate costumes and gowns as participants pretend to be King or Queen for a day. Nice composition! voted
William Fields replied:
Thanks Cheri, means a lot coming from a NOLA person! Next time you go to Galatoire's on the weekend you can look for this guy; )
William Fields replied:
By the way, he's studying to be a nurse practitioner so he won't have to busk no more.
