If you don't think wine cellars are important consider this. When Percy Bysshe Shelley drowned off the coast of Italy his recovered body was cremated. His heart wouldn't burn and was returned to England to be interred there. Shelley's ashes were stored for several months in the British Consul's wine cellar in Rome before eventually being buried in the Protestant Cemetery.
The Weinkeller or Wine Cellar is a photo of a doorway in the historic district of Hermann, Missouri. The building once housed a general store, a car dealership and some other businesses. Today it is one of the largest festhalles in the world. This entry is a side door that leads to the cellars.
