My technical approach with this picture is a little different than what I have been doing until now. Although, it is an HDR image, it has been processed to bring up a higher key and to approach the concept of pictorialism. There is a bit of "painting" involved and a wider range of exposures in the HDR process.

The Connollys are dear friends here in Missouri. Their love for one another is inspiring and it shines out onto all who they come in contact with. Maestro Dennis is a chef without peer and the lovely Noel has the voice of an angel. These are extraordinary people. Dennis has created some of the finer dining establishments in Saint Louis and out here in the country as well. Noel sings a wide range of material from blues to jazz to pop all with exceptional skill and tone. Their homestead is in the midst of some of the most beautiful countryside around here.
