A gritty, urban stopping place. The characters that frequent it are as gritty and interesting as the building and its environs. One would expect nothing more. There is a part of me that finds inner peace in beautiful rural scenery and yet, occasionally I need an injection of something much harsher. I go to Coney joints when I’m in Detroit. I have breakfast in places like this when I’m in almost any city. When I was a surf bum in my twenties, I typically ate a place that my surf pals and I referred to as Greasy’s, short for the Greasy Spoon. I have other dark, inner twists. This is just one that I do not mind talking about.
All of my works are fine art photographs. The Fine Art America algorithms do not allow photos to be sold as original art so in order to offer the original piece, my work must be listed as digital art.
