Thanks Cheri. I am constantly drawn to the love of a mother for a child. It's something that there is just too little of. When I hear about someone hurting their child I'm stunned into grief. The sheep of course are a metaphor for this same kind of human love.

This another from my Mother and Child series. The nursing lamb and the mother ewe first inspired this series of pictures. I have edited and reedited this picture since I shot it. I feel this is as strong an image as I have gotten from it.
