Description
In the depths of Antelope Canyon, near Page, Arizona, the wind and flash flood sculpted canyon walls present an ethereal image. It might be the view an embryo has at the moment of birth or it might be the view we all have at the moment of death. My POV is looking straight up toward the top of the canyon resulting in somewhat abstract image. This was shot with a Fujifilm X-E1, converted to infrared.
All of my works are fine art photographs. The Fine Art America algorithms do not allow photos to be sold as original art so in order to offer the original piece, my work must be listed as digital art. My work offered as "original' means that I will not sell the image to anyone else. The purchaser is guaranteed a one of a kind image which can only be acquired through direct contact with me. The art photo is printed using the highest quality materials available today and is certified to be one of a kind. There are a number of factors that separate the work from production or giclee prints. I personally supervise the printing and control the source material. You are guaranteed a unique work of art.
I deeply and humbly appreciate all the kind words and support I receive about my work. The greatest compliment you can pay me is to share my work with others. Please share it on Facebook, on Twitter and other social media. Or, just send the url to a friend or family member who might enjoy seeing it in an email. Spread the word to any and all that you think will find what I do interesting and appealing.
Please contact me by email to order my recently published Acclaim Press book, Hermann, Missouri, One of the Prettiest Towns in America.
Watch my postings for announcements on two other photo books that are in the works including one that will contain Infrared images of the Southwestern U.S.
The Fine Art America Watermark will not appear on any products purchased.

Just super William! This is a venue that I need to cross off my list, and you've captured it so perfectly. Very creative and unique treatment. L/f

Such a glorious place on earth! I get claustrophobic just thinking about it, but there are sure some gorgeous views there! Fantastic image! . . . .vf
