Artist's Description

This is Pueblo Bonito or Pretty Village in the Chaco Culture Historic Park, Northwest New Mexico. Chaco is a unique archeological site in that it had large scale occupation. Most Anasazi sites in the Southwest are much smaller in scale. The people of Chaco practiced archeoastronomy, sophisticated basket making, pottery, agriculture and most likely evolved the Kachina clans. Prior to the late 19th century, Pueblo Bonito was the largest building in America. My photo is infrared created using my Fujifilm X-E1, converted to IR at 680nm. The color effects in the picture are the result of shooting at sunset.

All of my works are fine art photographs. The Fine Art America algorithms do not allow photos to be sold as original art so in order to offer the original piece, my work must be listed as digital art.
