Description
This 100 plus, year old store is currently being restored as a part of the efforts of the Katy Land Trust, katylandtrust.org, who are devoted to preserving farms and forests along the Katy Trail. At 237 miles, the Katy is the longest rails to trails park in the United States. The trail crosses the State of Missouri from East to West and passes through farms, fields and forest all along the way. There are spectacular river and bluff views as well as interesting, historical spots like the Peers Store. I will be sitting the art gallery at the Peers Store from June to October on weekends. The gallery will feature my photos and the paintings of four other Missouri artists. Come by and have some ice cream and a Pepsi.
