Davidson, Arkansas was the site of the first county seat in Randolph County. Floods, war and other forms of neglect have left nothing but rolling hills, forest and some recent archeological digs in what is now a place of beauty and peace that has been made into a State park. I try to visit the park when I am in the area both for the natural beauty and for the sense of history.
