Description
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel,
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
who was just as sloshed as Schlegel.
From the Philosopher's Drinking Song as sung by Monty Python
Montague's, the first door on the left is a lovely barbecue place in Hermann, Missouri that serves up a smoked brisket to die for. Louie Montague is from Texas and they know how to smoke a brisket down there! The second door was formerly a coffee shop called Philosopher's. Louie has since incorporated it into his business. I guess that explains the title. The photo is a nocturne, or a night time picture. Even though it was pretty dark, there was enough light from street lamps and such to cast my shadow on the sidewalk. I could have removed it in post processing but I decided to make an appearance ala Alfred Hitchcock.

William, Great photo love the fantastic lighting outside the corner building and the great details you have captured in the building from the brick work to the images on the side walk. Excellent photo, voted, google and tweet promoted
