Description

What if, when you speak, your words erase sounds
So that the longer you speak, the quieter it gets?

I feed my cows and calves, my chickens
and duck, milk, turn out the stock,
and plod back to the house.

The sun bursts up, gold fingers on the grass,
bathes all in light. The birds
talk to the wind as if a tree has
the soul of a stone.
