Description
This was on one of those calm days when the air is so still that there isn't a ripple or a twig that will twitch. The clouds stay in place and there is a quietude that approximates the stillness of winter. As I looked across this pond and saw the zigzag pattern created by the bridge and where it slashed into the hillside, I could only think of a kaleidoscope.
