Cold, wet leaves
Floating on moss-coloured water
And the croaking of frogs—
Cracked bell-notes in the twilight.

All though these leaves appear to be floating on a moss coloured pond surface, they are in fact, stuck on the rear window of my car. I came out of a grocery store after some rain and wind. The storm had blown the leaves onto my wet car and the stuck. I grabbed my camera and you see the results. I have done some post processing to eliminate some ugly dirt streaks and I tinkered with the color only slightly. It is otherwise, as I found it.

William, I love it! and it's perfect for the verse that you've offered here. However, I am glad that you included an explanation describing the circumstance of the capture, as I would never have been able to determine the situation. It actually looks somehow as if you have captured them as they were drifting down from the trees in the rain. So nice! voted
