I try to put everything I have learned from every great teacher and through every mistake I have made into each and every piece with as much passion as I have for art and for life itself. Artists have been accused of being self aggrandizing, long winded, name droppers. I hate it when the critics get it right! William, Excellent photo, love the angle and the idea of taking this photo, (I did something similar in a Guitar Center store) when I photographed about a 100 guitars hanging on the wall and then was asked to leave? This photo is great and would the details of the violins are excellent along with the way the light is hitting on them. Great photo for a musician or especially a violin player to have. Ann Johndro-Collins
William - What I like about this image is that it reminds me of my own childhood. In our small town in northern Maine in 6th grade if our grades were excellent we were allowed to choose an instrument to play. The instrument I chose was the violin. I was overjoyed. Although my parents could not afford lessons for me I learned so much from playing in school on music days that in my sophomore year I was selected to play in the Maine All State Orchestra. Although I have enjoyed many highlights in my life this one remains a favorite. So, thank you for the memory. v/f
William Fields replied:
Thanks for this wonderful story Ann. Do you still play? Thanks also for your support.
