Celestial Navigation metal print by William Fields. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The Great Bear, the Big Dipper seems ready to scoop up a ladle full of the Missouri River below. This nocturne emphasizes the constellation over the river, yet it is much more. There is a landscape in the darkness. We get glimpses of it through the glow of the lights of distant towns creeping over the horizon. There is just enough light to see the reflections of the trees in the still surface of the great river. The sycamores in the foreground frame the rest of the story. When I am out alone on overlooks such as this one, I often think to myself "Why am I the only one here?".
