Artist's Description

A boudoir is a private place for a lady that is filled with perfumes and powders, feathered boas and pretty little pictures. It is a secret place where she wears beautiful and lacey undies while she dreams or actually indulges in romantic interludes. The boudoir in the picture is our spare room. At times my wife seduces me there so I guess it is her boudoir.

The gladiolas were so uniquely colored, I had to do something with them that was fun and exciting. I saved the color of the flowers while choosing to bring the rest of the image down to give it a vintage feeling. The flowers are in the final analysis symbolic of the lady herself and how she feels in her private room.

Please feel free to share the picture on this page and any of my other photos with friends, family and associates.

Artists have been accused of being self aggrandizing, long winded, name droppers. I hate it when the critics get it right! In an attempt to diffuse those kinds of accusations, regardless of how accurate they may be, I am writing this statement today. Each picture I make begins with a germ of an idea. I visualize how I...
