Description
When I see this kind of scene on the river, I imagine it must have been something like the Corps of Discovery experienced... minus the power lines and the dredge of course. I shot this at about 8:00 a.m. The processing is HDR from a single image.

In Photoshop. You can remove the power lines and the dredge, if you wanted. Sometimes I take out half a dozen houses, old power poles and power lines and it is not that difficult. There are many tutorials on YouTube. There are also free editors on the Internet like Gimp that is pretty close to the capabilities of Photoshop. but you have an excellent image anyway. Bob and Nadine, thanks for the input on PS. I do use PSE for my editor and have no problem with those types of mods. I guess I've come to believe that some level of our uglification of the landscape gets to stay in my pictures because this is the world we have created. Thank you very much for your continuing support of my work!
