Artist's Description
The historic Peers Store will soon be an art gallery featuring my photographs and the work of four other artists. Please stop by to see us. The Peers Store sits right on the trail along highway 94 in the scenic Missouri River Valley and is a project of the Katy Land Trust whose aim is the preservation and conservation of farms and forests along the Katy Trail. This is a quirky, painterly interpretation of the subject. In the past, I was working this way for some time, but gravitated away from it into less stylized work. I'm interested in how people react to this.
