Artist's Description

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park spans Northeastern Arizona and Southeastern Utah. The Three Sisters are the spires on the left of the horizon line. My view point was near an area called Artist Point. Each time I visit Monument Valley I discover something I had missed before. Part of the experience is colored by the time of day, atmospheric conditions and an even greater part, is I think, colored by who I am at that moment in my life. It was late in the day and the way the light fell across the earth created long shadows and filled the scene with drama. I feel I can return to this place over and over for the rest of my life and find something new with each visit.
