In Monument Valley Tribal Park, there are rock formations referred to as mittens. This is one of the more famous ones, but this is a less familiar view of it. The valley was socked in with rain during my recent visit and my daydreams of sunrises and sunsets over the red rock structures were dampened to say the least. But, even though the weather was not as amenable as it might have been, there were still photographic treasures to be discovered. It isn't often that one can see the valley with low hanging clouds clinging to the mesas. I have processed this image using NIK Silver EFX Pro
