Description
One of the truly remarkable things about Grand Canyon is that it was peopled in ancient days. The Anasazi, whomever they were, roamed, farmed, traded, hunted, created art and ultimately resided here in this place that is so magnificent it takes our breath away each time we see it. They most certainly were as thunder struck as we are today. They most surely stood gape mouthed as we do when they first saw it. They looked down into it. They saw the river below. They watched storm squalls race over it as they ducked for cover. They wondered how such a magnificent place can be. Evidence of them is everywhere in and around the canyon. The most casual observer will find pot shards or arrowheads that tell their story in the only way we can find and read it today. Here on this spot, admiring this scene, with as much appreciation and admiration as any of us, the ancients stood.
All of my works are fine art photographs. The Fine Art America algorithms do not allow photos to be sold as original art so in order to offer the original piece, my work must be listed as digital art. My work offered as "original' means that I will not sell the image to anyone else. The purchaser is guaranteed a one of a kind image which can only be acquired through direct contact with me. The art photo is printed using the highest quality materials available today and is certified to be one of a kind. There are a number of factors that separate the work from production or giclee prints. I personally supervise the printing and control the source material. You are guaranteed a unique work of art.
I deeply and humbly appreciate all the kind words and support I receive about my work. The greatest compliment you can pay me is to share my work with others. Please share it on Facebook, on Twitter and other social media. Or, just send the url to a friend or family member who might enjoy seeing it in an email. Spread the word to any and all that you think will find what I do interesting and appealing.
Please contact me by email to order my recently published Acclaim Press book, Hermann, Missouri, One of the Prettiest Towns in America.
Watch my postings for announcements on two other photo books that are in the works.
The Fine Art America Watermark will not appear on any products purchased.
