Description

The title is from a short story by D.H. Lawrence. The story is tragic, but my image can be seen and understood in a different way. The child's toy horse is key to the story. It ultimately is connected with his death. But, it has other significance for me and my wife. Her uncle was the inventor of the Wonder Horse and toy rocking horses have a special place in our hearts. I found this one in a shop in southern Missouri. It was not offered for sale, but was rather, a decorative store fixture. I found the little horse enchanting and I was captivated by the light. This was yet another instance that reinforces my feeling that I must always have a camera with me.

All of my works are fine art photographs. The Fine Art America algorithms do not allow photos to be sold as original art so in order to offer the original piece, my work must be listed as digital art. My work offered as "original' means that I will not sell the image to anyone else. The purchaser is guaranteed a one of a kind image which can only be acquired through direct contact with me. The art photo is printed using the highest quality materials available today and is certified to be one of a kind. There are a number of factors that separate the work from production or giclee prints. I personally supervise the printing and control the source material. You are guaranteed a unique work of art.
